People who are yet to receive their second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine have been urged to get vaccinated.
State Minister Channa Jayasumana said 116,664 people were administered the second dose of the vaccine yesterday.
This brings the total number of individuals vaccinated with the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine in Sri Lanka to 370,761.
State Minister Channa Jayasumana further said 170,000 more individuals are yet to receive their second AstraZeneca dose.
He urged the people who are yet to obtain their second dose of the vaccine to get vaccinated soon without further delay.
According to the Health Ministry, 133 vaccination centres are being operated today to provide the second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine. (NewsWire)
