Three Sri Lankan cricketers participating in the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) T20 League in Kandy have tested positive.
According to reports, Sachindu Colambage, Mohamed Shiraz and Nimesh Vimukthi have tested positive.
The remaining players and officials will depart to Kandy for the tournament which will feature four teams.
The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) T20 League will kic off on Thursday, 12th August and will continue till 22nd August.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka cricketer Bhanuka Rajapaksa is doubtful for the tournament, as he is yet to recover from a previously sustained injury.
Rajapaksa sustained a finger injury during the tour against India which was played in Colombo in July. (NewsWire)
