Seven players out of SLC T20 League after failing fitness tests

Seven Sri Lankan cricketers have been ruled out of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) T20 League after failing to pass the necessary fitness tests.

The SLC T20 League will commence tomorrow (12) in Pallekale, Kandy, and will conclude on 22nd August.

Following is an update on the current developments pertaining to the Dialog SLC Invitational T20 League:

Shifting of Players

01) Himasha Liyanage moved from Team Blues to Greys

02) Kamil Mishara moved from Team Greens to Greys

03) Prabath Jayasuriya moved from Team Greys to Reds

Fitness Test

The following players will not take part in the SLC Invitational T20 League, as they have failed to pass the fitness test.

Jehan Daniel

Sangeeth Cooray

Koshan Jayawickrama

Lahiru Gamage

Ashan Randika

Lasith Embuldeniya

No replacements will be made on behalf of the respective players.

Covid Positive

The below 03 players will not take part in the league, as they have tested Covid Positive. They are currently undergoing due medical protocols.
