Social activist Shehan Malaka has been summoned before the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today (23) to reportedly record a statement with regard to recent comments made to the media on the 2019 Easter attacks.
Shehan Malaka had been outspoken over the last few weeks on the investigations into the Easter attacks, claiming that it was a political conspiracy and had called on the Government to investigate it.
The social activist was also instrumental in organizing the recent black flag campaign that was proposed by the Catholic Church of Sri Lanka to protest against the investigations into the Easter attacks.
Publishing a statement on Facebook, Shehan Malaka said he has been summoned before the CID to record a statement this evening. (NewsWire)
