Kandy Warriors’ cricketer Binura Fernando has been ruled out of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2021.
The franchise has named a replacement for Fernando, as he has not fully recovered from his injury.
Fernando had sustained an injury during the T20 World Cup match between Sri Lanka and the West Indies that was held in Abu Dhabi and is yet to fully recover.
As a result, the Kandy Warriors have decided to replace Binura Fernando with Kasun Rajitha.
Rajitha is currently undergoing quarantine in the hotel where the Sri Lanka team is staying. (CricWire)
