The circular to provide a monthly allowance of Rs. 5,000 for Government employees and pensioners has been issued.
The Ministry of Public Services had issued the relevant circular today.
On 03rd January, the Cabinet of Ministers had granted approval to provide a monthly allowance of Rs. 5,000 for Government employees and pensioners effective from 01st January 2022.
The allowance is apart from the salary and pension provided to the selected groups.
As per the circular, state employees under permanent, temporary, or contractual employment and with a monthly salary, employees with a daily wage, and pensioners are eligible for the allowance. (NewsWire)
