Two Sri Lankan cricketers have been named in the ODI Men’s Team of the Year category of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) awards for the year 2021.
Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanidu Hasaranga and fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera are among the 11 cricketers nominated for the award.
Announcing the nominations, the ICC said the cricketers “impressed one and all – be it with the bat, the ball or their all-round exploits in a calendar year”.
