Sri Lanka’s foreign currency reserves have fallen over 24% to 2.36 billion US$ by end of January, Central Bank data shows.
“2.36 billion US$ includes the 10 billion Chinese yuan (around $1.5 billion) and $400 million Indian swaps.” Senior business journalist Shihar Aneez tweeted.

SriLanka’s gold reserves have also reduced almost half to $92 million in January from $175 million.
