Power cuts will not be imposed in any part of the country until 14th February, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) announced today.
PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayaka said that the power supply will not be disrupted as adequate electricity generation is guaranteed to meet demand.
However, he requested the public to use electricity sparingly during peak hours during this period.
The public has been urged to use electricity sparingly, especially from 06.00 pm – 10.00 pm. (NewsWire)
