The Police have announced a cash prize of Rs. 2.5 million for reliable information on the theft of a gold artefact that was placed at the Kotawehera Rajamaha Viharaya in Rambukkana.
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has launched a probe into the theft of the gold artefact that was placed in the room of the Tooth Relic at the temple.
The cash prize of Rs. 2.5 million is being offered on the directive of the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
