CEB requested power cuts approved by PUCSL for Wednesday (16th March )
Areas ABCDEFGHIJKL , 2 and half hours from 8am to 6pm and 2 hours from 6pm to 11pm.
Areas PQRSTUVW, 3 hours from 8.30 am to 5.30pm and 2 and half hours from 5.30pm to 11pm.
Accordingly no power cuts will be imposed for any part in the country between 08.00 pm to 09.30pm Wednesday. President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will make a special statement from 08.30pm Wednesday.
Power cuts will be stopped at 8 pm Wednesday and will begin again from 9.30 PM for some areas.
