A new Cabinet consisting of 17 ministers has been appointed by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today.
The 17 new Cabinet Ministers were sworn in before the President at the President’s House.
Following are the newly appointed Cabinet of Ministers:

- Ramesh Pathirana: Education & Plantation Industries
- Prasanna Ranatunga: Public Security & Tourism
- Dilum Amunugama: Transport & Industries
- Kanaka Herath: Highways
- Vidura Wickramanayaka: Labour
- Janaka Wakkumbura: Agriculture & Irrigation
- Shehan Semasinghe: Trade & Samurdhi Development
- Mohan Priyadharshana de Silva: Water Supply
- Wimalaweera Dissanayake: Wildlife & Forest Resources Conservation
- Kanchana Wijesekara: Power & Energy
