The protest march launched by the opposition, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) commenced from Kandy today.
“The Struggle For Freedom” march commenced near the Kandy Public Market and is headed towards Mawanella.
A large number of people have joined the SJB in its protest march which will reach Colombo on the 1st of May.
The 6-day protest march will be carried out from Kandy to Colombo, via Mawanella, Galigamuwa, Dangovita, Yakkala, Peliyagoda, and Independence Mawatha. (NewsWire)
