Two civilians and 11 Police officers have been injured following a clash in the Palamuna area in Akkaraipattu.
The tense situation had occurred following a motor accident in the area last night, resulting in a clash.
The Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Akkaraipattu Police is among the Police officers injured in the clash.
