Police have arrested 04 suspects on charges of attacking and causing damages to the houses of former ministers S.M. Chandrasena, Channa Jayasumana & Duminda Dissanayake in Anuradhapura.
The Police have also requested the public to report information pertaining to violent acts and looting during the unrest on the 9th of May, via the 1997 and 119 hotlines.
Meanwhile, IGP who was summoned by the President to the government parliamentary group meeting this morning has promised to arrest those who were involved in the attacks near Temple trees and Galle face within a week. (NewsWire)
