Full list of Govt MPs’ properties damaged by unruly mobs released

The Chief Government whip’s Office has released a list on the properties of Government MPs that were damaged by unruly mobs during the recent unrest that took place in Sri Lanka.

  • Mahinda Rajapaksa – Weeraketiya house damaged.The museum, including the parent monuments, has been destroyed.The statue of the father has been destroyed.
  • Dinesh Gunawardena – Boralugoda office set on fire and historical documents destroyed. Damage to Kirulapone house.
  • Ramesh Pathirana – Galle house set on fire.
  • Prasanna Ranatunga- Home, office, meeting hall, Motorcycles and 03 vehicles were set on fire.
  • Wimalaweera Dissanayake – Damage was done to the house and the son’s house.
  • Mohan Priyadarshana de Silva – Two houses in Galle and Rathgama were set on fire.The Rathgama office has been set on fire.
  • Vidura Wickramanayake -Home, office and 03 vehicles were damaged.
  • Shehan Semasinghe – Three vehicles belonging to a house were set on fire.
  • Kanaka Herath: Hon 02 houses, office and 04 vehicles were set on fire
  • Kanchana Wijesekera – One floor of the house was set on fire and the rest and 03 vehicles were damaged
  • Thenuka Vidanagamage -Two buses were set on fire.Two buildings have been damaged.
  • Nalaka Godahewa -Gampaha office and house set on fire.
  • Channa Jayasumana -The Anuradhapura office has been set on fire.
  • Nasir Ahmed -Home, office, 02 factories, a shop and a restaurant were set on fire
  • Arundika Fernando – Home, office, vehicle set on fire.
  • Sanath Nishantha – Home, office, 03 motorcycles, 02 tractors and 01 three wheeler were set on fire.
  • Tharaka Balasuriya – A house and 03 vehicles were set on fire.
  • Indika Anuruddha – 2 vehicles,  motorcycles, 02 offices and 02 houses were set on fire.
  • Siripala Gamalath – Giritale home and office set on fire.
  • Anuradha Jayaratne -The Gampola office has been damaged.
  • D.V Chanaka -The Tangalle office has been damaged.
  • Sisira Jayakody -The office was damaged.
  • Prasanna Ranaweera -Home, 06 vehicles and office were set on fire
  • D.B. Herath – Variyapola house set on fire
  • Sitha Arambepola -Damage was done to 2 vehicles and the house
  • Rohana Dissanayake – The house was damaged
  • Shantha Bandara -The house, 03 motorcycles, 01 jeep and 01 three wheeler were set on fire.Crops have been damaged
  • Piyal Nishantha de Silva – The house was damaged
  • Ashoka Priyantha -02 houses and 14 vehicles were set on fire.The business premises has been damaged
  • Sumith Udukumbura -02 houses and 01 vehicle were set on fire. Another vehicle was damaged
  • Akila Saliya Ellawala -Damage to home, office and 02 vehicles
  • Lalith Ellawala – The office was damaged
  • Jagath Kumara Sumithraarachchi – The office was damaged
  • Nalaka Kottegoda The house is on fire. The office and 03 vehicles (including 01 government vehicle) were damaged
  • Kokila Gunawardena – The house, brother’s house and 02 vehicles were set on fire.
  • Milan Jayatilleke – The house, 01 vehicle and 05 motorcycles were set on fire
  • Isuru Dodangoda – The jeep belonging to the mother was damaged.
  • Premnath Dolawatta – The house was damaged
  • Nandasena -The house was damaged
  • S.M. Chandrasena -Damage to home, office, auditorium and business premises
  • Mahindanananda Aluthgamage – The Nawalapitiya office has been damaged
  • Rohitha Abeygunawardena – 02 offices, 02 houses and 01 motorcycle were set on fire.
  • Namal Rajapaksa – The wife’s house was set on fire
  • Roshan Ranasinghe – ‘Polonnaruwa house damaged and equipment stolen. Two vehicles were damaged.
  • Shashindra Rajapaksa – Sevanagala house set on fire.
  • Jayantha Ketagoda – Damage to home and brother’s home
  • Amarakeerthi Athukorala – The house is on fire.The vehicle was damaged. The MP has been assassinated
  • Sampath Athukorala -The house was damaged and 02 rooms were set on fire
  • Janaka Thisakuttiarachchi The house was damaged
  • Piyum Anupa Paskuwal – has caused damage to his house in Matugama.
  • Chinthaka Amal Mayadunna – damage to his house and office.
  • Nipuna Ranawaka – damage to the office.
  • Ali Sabri Rahim – set fire to 02 houses, office, 01 cab, 08 motorbikes and business premises.
  • Ajith Rajapaksa – damage to a bus.
  • Gunathilake Rajapaksa – damage to the office.
  • Upul Mahendra Rajapaksa – damage to his house.
  • Rajika Wickramasinghe – House in Yatiyantota has been damaged.
  • Sahan Pradeep Chithana – The house has been damaged.
  • D Weerasinghe- house and motorcycle were set on fire.
  • Kapila Athukorala -The house was damaged.
  • Geetha Kumarasinghe -02 houses and 03 vehicles were set on fire.
  • Gunapala Ratnasekera – The house set on fire
  • Chamal Rajapaksa – Magama house, Tissa house, Medamulana house and Tissa office were set on fire
  • Johnston Fernando – All Homes, vehicles, offices and businesses were set on fire and damaged.
  • Gamini Lokuge – 03 houses, 02 vehicles and 02 offices were set on fire.
  • Bandula Gunawardena -Two houses and two vehicles were damaged
  • Janaka Bandara Tennakoon – Dambulla house set on fire
  • C.B. Ratnayake -The crossroads office has been set on fire
  • Keheliya Rambukwella – The house is on fire.
  • Samanpriya Herath’s house, office and vehicle were set on fire
  • Lalith Warna Kumara Manju – Home and office were damaged
  • Chandima Weerakkody’s house and office in Hapugala have been set on fire
  • Nimal Lansa – damage by setting fire to his house, vehicle and business premises.
  • Piyankara Jayaratne – damage to Madampe House.
