The Managing Director of the Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC) Manoj Gupta has visited the manager of a LIOC fuel station in Thunmulla, Colombo who was recently assaulted by a group of people.
According to reports, the manager of the LIOC fuel station in Thunmulla had been assaulted for refusing to issue fuel without the QR code to a group of people.
Video footage shows a group of seven people entering the manager’s room and two persons among them assaulting the man.
Thereafter, more people enter the room and continue to assault the manager after which they are seen leaving.
The video footage also shows the suspects using their helmets as well as the computer on the fuel station manager’s table to assault him.
The Police have launched investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
