Three people have been killed in a multi-vehicle collision reported in Kegalle today.
The Police said 02 others have been injured in the accident and have been hospitalized.
The accident had taken place in the Ranwala area in Kegalle on the Colombo- Kandy Road.
The Police said the accident had occurred after the three motorcycles travelling towards Colombo from Kegalle had collided with a van that was travelling to Kandy
The deceased have been identified as residents of the Thulhiriya and Veyangoda areas, aged 27 years.
The Police said the carelessness of the van driver had caused the motor accident, while the driver of the van has been taken into custody. (NewsWire)
