The Asia Cup 2022 Trophy has been placed at the Museum of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).
Sri Lanka was named the Men’s Asia Cup 2022 Champions after defeating Pakistan by 23 runs in Dubai in September.
The SLC said Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka placed the Asia Cup Trophy at the SLC’s Museum on 30th September.
Sri Lanka has won 6 Asia Cup trophies thus far. Apart from the 2022 trophy, Sri Lanka also holds the Asia Cup trophies of 1986, 1997, 2004, 2008, and 2014.
The SLC said that all Asia Cup trophies have been displayed at the SLC’s Museum.
The World Cup Trophies of 1996 and 2014 are also placed on display at the SLC’s Museum in Colombo and are open for public viewing.
The SLC said that its Museum at Maitland Crescent in Colombo 07 is open to the public from 09.00 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Saturday. (NewsWire)
