A new Gazette notification has been issued declaring several sectors as essential services.
The Gazette notification has been issued by President Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday to ensure uninterrupted services for the public.
Thereby, the following sectors have been declared as essential services:
- Services related to the supply of electricity
- Petroleum production and distribution
- Hospital and other medical-related services (NewsWire)
