A total of 35 people have been killed in shootings reported in Sri Lanka between 30th May 2022 to date, Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said.
The Police Spokesman said that 29 shootings have been reported within this period and a total of 14 people have been injured in the shootings.
He further said that 64 suspects have been arrested and 15 vehicles have been seized by the Police in connection to the various shooting incidents.
SSP Nihal Thalduwa added that special operations have commenced to seize the weapons that are in the possession of the criminals. (NewsWire)
