The Petroleum Products (Special Provisions) (Amendment) Act that was passed in Parliament recently will be enforced from the 26th of October 2022, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara said today.
The Minister said that, thereby, following evaluation, new retail suppliers for the sale of Petroleum Products will be permitted to enter the domestic market.
Minister Wijesekera said that the new retail suppliers will be allowed to enter the domestic market by the end of the year. (NewsWire)
