The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has approved power cuts for the weekend and on Monday (31).
PUCSL Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said that a power cut of 1 hour will be enforced on Saturday (29) and Sunday (30).
He further said that a power cut of 2 hours will be implemented on Monday, 31st October 2022.
Thereby, the power cuts are as follows:
29th & 30th October:
Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, and W – 1 hour from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm
31st October :
Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, P, Q, R, T, U, V, and W – 1 hour during the day time and 1 hour at night (NewsWire)
