Russia’s Azur Air resumes operations to Sri Lanka

Russia’s largest charter airline Azur Air resumed flight operations to Sri Lanka today (03).

The flight consisting of 335 passengers landed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake this morning.

The ZF-1611 flight departed from the Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow and landed at the BIA at 9.46 am.

Azur Air is scheduled to operate four flights per week initially with plans to operate additional flights from several cities based on the demand.

This is the second Russian Airline to resume operations to Sri Lanka as Russian flag carrier, Aeroflot resumed flight operations to Sri Lanka in June. (NewsWire)
