Another passenger cruise ship is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka next week, Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando said today.
In a Twitter message, Minister Fernando said that “Mein Schiff 5” will make its maiden call to Sri Lanka on 29th November 2022.
He further said the ship is expected to berth at 06 am on Tuesday at the East Container Terminal of the Colombo Port as its size is too big to berth at the passenger terminal.
The Tourism Minister added that 2030 passengers and 945 crew will be on board the ship, with a majority of passengers being Europeans. (NewsWire)
