A 33-year-old man has been arrested on charges of dealing non-prescription drugs to school children in Vavuniya.
The suspect was arrested by the Police Special Task Force (STF) during a raid conducted close to Poovarasankulam in Vavuniya.
According to the Police, the suspect was in possession of 539 capsules of the harmful Pregub 150 mg medicine.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the suspect, a resident of Vavuniya, has been involved in illegal drug distribution for a long period of time.
