Headline inflation based on the Colombo Consumer Price Index (CCPI) for the month of November 2022 has decreased to 61%, the Department of Census and Statistics reported.
In its report released today (30), the department said it is a decrease in comparison to the 66% that was reported in October 2022.
Food inflation is 73.7%, less than the 85.6% reported in October, while non-food inflation has been reported as 54.5%.
