2nd January 2022, Colombo: Cementing its position as the best in service quality within the banking and financial services industry of Sri Lanka, Seylan Bank, the Bank with a Heart, was recently ranked as Number One for the fourth consecutive year in LMD’s Customer Excellence Survey.
This achievement stands as a testament to the emphasis placed on customer service, throughout the Bank’s 34 years of operations. Over the years, Seylan Bank has decoded its ‘The Bank with a Heart’ tagline to holistically understand customer requirements and offer them relevant financial solutions.

One of the main brand service surveys in the country, LMD’S online Customer Excellence Survey garnered over 2,800 responses over a period spanning from 15 July to 15 September 2022. The poll covered 22 categories of service organisations and participants were asked to name their favourite establishment in each segment for service excellence. The results list up to 20 organisations cited by survey participants in order of the most number of votes cast.
