30 short-distance train journeys will be suspended from Monday, 16th January 2023, Minister of Transport Bandula Gunawardena said today.
Minister Gunawardena said that the decision has been taken with the aim to reduce costs.
He further said that thereby, 18 train journeys on the main railway line, 02 each on the Kelani Valley and Puttalam railway lines, and 08 train journeys on the coastal line will be thus suspended.
