Senior vocalist Anil Bharathi, who greatly contributed to Sri Lanka’s music industry, has passed away. 

Anil Bharathi was 75 years old at the time of his demise. 

It is reported that he passed away today (Jan 22) while receiving treatment at the Panadura Hospital due to an illness. 

The veteran Sri Lankan singer is known for his songs ‘Bethlehem Pure’, ‘Seethala Sanda Eliye’ and ‘Bambareku Aduna’. (Newswire)
