A 37-year-old man arrested with narcotics has been identified as a suspect wanted over several ATM card frauds, the Police said.

According to the Police, the suspect was arrested with 12.8 grams of ICE during a raid conducted at Eli House Road in Modara last afternoon.

Following investigations conducted into the man, it was found that he was wanted for ATM card financial fraud reported in the Vella Veediya, Mahabage, Piliyandala, Yakkala, and Bambalapitiya areas.

Further investigations have also found that he is a suspect who has been issued open warrants regarding 07 cases being deliberated at the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court and 02 cases at the Fort Magistrate’s Court.

The suspect is a 37-year-old resident of Wellampitiya. The Modara Police is conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
