The body of a woman was found in an abandoned well near a paddy field in the Badalgama area yesterday.

The Police said the woman is expected to be between 40 and 45 years of age, and 5 feet 06 inches in height.

The woman was found wearing a blue coloured short and a blue coloured t-shirt.

The Badalgama Police is conducting a probe into the incident. (Newswire)
