Train services along the coastal line have been disrupted today, the Railway Department said. 

According to the Railway Department, the disruption is caused due to damage to a track between Moratuwa and Panadura.

The Railway Department further said that, therefore, train services along the said railway line will be delayed. (Newswire)

Train services along the coastal railway line have been delayed this morning, Sri Lanka Railways said. 

According to the Railway Department, the delay has been caused due to broken railway tracks near the Wellawatte Railway Station.

At least 25 train journeys on the coastal lines are facing cancellations today (Mar 30), according to Sri Lanka Railways.

The Railway Department said the delays are caused due to pipeline maintenance work carried out by the Urban Development Authority (UDA).
