Former Chief of Defence Staff and ex-Navy Commander Admiral Daya Sandagiri has expressed his support to the main opposition, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).

According to the SJB, the former Navy Commander met Opposition and SJB Leader Sajith Premadasa, where he expressed his support for the party. 

MP Premadasa has appointed Daya Sandagiri as an Adviser on Maritime and Naval Policy for the SJB, based on the latter’s vast knowledge and experience in the maritime and naval field. (NewsWire)
