The Matara District General Hospital has received a new Digital X-ray machine, worth Rs. 100 million.

The Digital X-ray machine has been provided under a grant from Sri Lanka’s Health Ministry. 

According to the Health Ministry, the machine is the only Digital X-ray machine for the entire Southern Province. 

The Ministry added that the services of the new Digital X-ray machine will be used to treat patients at the Matara District General Hospital and surrounding areas from next week. (NewsWire)
