Four suspects have been arrested in Kegalle for creating fake GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level Examination result sheets similar to those issued by Sri Lanka’s Department of Examinations. 

The Police said the group was busted, following a raid conducted by the Kegalle Division Crimes Investigation Unit based on a tip. 

An individual who had created the fake result sheets and three others who had aided him were arrested in the raid. 

The suspects are aged between 21 and 55 years and are residents of Hakahinna, Hettimulla, and Alapalawa. 

The Police seized a stock of fake result sheets, a computer, a scanner, a photo printing machine, and a copper seal during the raid. (NewsWire)
