Two books compiled by the Department of Official Languages, “Sinhala Fonts” and “Tamil Fonts”, were presented to President Ranil Wickremesinghe today (21).

According to the President’s Media Division, the two books were presented to the President by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena at the Parliament premises.

This presentation was made to celebrate ‘International Mother Language Day’, which is commemorated on February 21. 

The PMD stated that the Speaker and all Members of Parliament will also receive copies of these books. 

State Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan was also in attendance at the presentation. (NewsWire)
