Two individuals have been reported dead following a three-wheeler-train collision this morning (09), the Police said. 

According to the Police, a three-wheeler had been struck at the Halpe Railway Crossing between Kapuwatta and Kandana. 

The vehicle had been struck by a train plying from Chilaw to Colombo Fort. 

Two individuals had been inside the three-wheeler at the time of the incident.

They had been rushed to the Ragama Hospital, where they are reported to have succumbed to injuries. (Newswire)
