Indian Navy Ship INS Nireekshak arrived in Sri Lanka today (21) for an Operational Turnaround (OTR) and training visit, which will continue until April 26.”

The Sri Lanka Navy welcomed the visiting ship at the port of Colombo in accordance with time-honoured naval traditions.

Commanded by Commander Sailesh Kumar Tyagi, the Diving Support Vessel will conduct a training programme with Sri Lanka Navy diving professionals.

The crew will also take part in activities organized by the Sri Lanka Navy and visit tourist attractions in the country. (Newswire)
