Five passengers have been injured after a bus collided with the Makumbura Multimodal Center (MMC) in Kottawa today.

CCTV footage shows the bus crashing into the Makumbura Multimodal Center early this morning.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the bus driver had lost control of the vehicle due to a brake failure while attempting to park the bus. 

The five injured passengers, travelling in the bus plying from Padukka to Fort, have been hospitalised.

It is reported that another parked bus and the Makumbura Multimodal Center had sustained damages in the accident. (Newswire)
