New members have been appointed to the Committee on Public Finance (COPF) of the 10th Parliament of Sri Lanka. 

Parliamentarians Chathuranga Abeysinghe, Shanakiyan Rasamanickam, Kaushalya Ariyaratne, and Arkam Ilyas have been appointed as the new COPF members. 

The announcement was made by Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne during the commencement of the first Parliament sitting for 2025.

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Harsha de Silva was previously appointed as the Chair of the Committee on Public Finance. (Newswire)
