Sri Lanka’s official reserve assets increased by 4.3% to USD 5.64 billion in June 2024, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).

The CBSL states this is an increase from the USD 5.41 billion reported in May this year.

The figure includes proceeds from the swap with the People’s Bank of China (PBoC) equivalent to around USD 1.4 billion, which is subject to conditionalities on usability. (Newswire)

Sri Lanka’s Official Reserve Assets increased by 9.6% to USD 5.43 billion in April 2024, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL). 

The figures reported for April is an increase from the USD 4.96 billion recorded in March 2024. 

It includes proceeds from the People’s Bank of China equivalent to around USD 1.4 billion, which is subject to conditionalities on usability. (Newswire)

Sri Lanka’s Official Reserve Assets increased to USD 4.4 billion (by 23.2%) in December 2023, according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).

The CBSL reported that this was an increase compared to the USD 3.57 billion recorded in November 2023.

The Central Bank further said that the Official Reserve Assets reported for December 2023 included the currency swap amounting to around USD 1.4 billion with China. (NewsWire)
