Former Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage has extended his support to the main opposition, Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) led by MP Sajith Premadasa. 

Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage conveyed his support during a meeting with SJB Leader MP Sajith Premadasa today (Feb 23).

MP Premadasa has appointed Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage as the head of the SJB’s anti-corruption policy implementation unit.

Major General Sathyapriya Liyanage has also been appointed as a consultant to MP Premadasa in his attempts to fight corruption. (NewsWire)
