Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva yesterday met with India’s Deputy High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, in what was marked as Pandey’s final official engagement before concluding his three‑year diplomatic tenure in Colombo.

The meeting, held at the JVP headquarters, reviewed recent measures taken to strengthen ties between Sri Lanka and India. 

Silva expressed appreciation for Pandey’s friendly contribution during his posting, including India’s assistance to Sri Lankans affected by Cyclone  Ditwah.

As Pandey prepares to depart after completing his diplomatic duties, Silva extended best wishes for success in his future endeavours. (Newswire)
