A group of men disrupted a silent protest that was held near the Liberty roundabout in Colpetty against the ‘Yukthiya’ islandwide Police special operation.

Video footage, shared by the media, shows the men harassing the protesters and urging them to end their protest. 

A man covering his face with a cloth scarf was also seen swearing and assaulting a male protester.

The group was seen behaving in an unruly manner, engaging in heated arguments with women who were engaged in the protest.

The Police who later arrived at the location, intervened and sent the group of men away from the protesters. (NewsWire)
