Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka, Jagath Wickramaratne, has announced that he has received copies of another two petitions that have been filed in respect of the Bill titled “Sri Lanka Electricity (Amendment)”.

The Speaker said he had received copies of the two petitions, which had been filed in the Supreme Court in terms of Article 121(1) of the Constitution, yesterday. 

He made the announcement while addressing the Parliament today. (Newswire)
