A foreign woman who had walked topless along the road in Pottuvil has been taken into custody by officers from the women’s unit of the Pottuvil Police Station.

According to police sources, the woman, identified as a Thai national, had walked topless from one hotel entrance to another.

Subsequently, a team of female and male police officers from the Pottuvil station arrested her and brought her to the station.

She is due to be presented before the Pottuvil Magistrate’s Court today (15). (Newswire)
