Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has named a 15-member squad for the Women’s U19 TriSeries tour of Australia, which will also feature England. 

The SLC has announced that during the tour, the team will play a total of six matches, comprising two One Day and four T20 games.

The matches are scheduled for the 7th, 8th, 12th, 13th, 17th, and 18th of April. 

The squad is scheduled to depart for Australia tomorrow, April 03. (Newswire)

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the schedule for the Australia U19 Women’s Team’s tour of Sri Lanka in September this year.

The Australia Under-19 Women’s Team will arrive in Sri Lanka in September to take part in a six-match bilateral series, featuring five T20 games and one Youth One Day International (Youth ODI). 

According to the SLC, this tour presents a valuable opportunity for the young cricketers to gain international exposure and experience. 

The series is expected to play a key role in nurturing the next generation of women’s cricketers and strengthening the youth development pathway.

Sri Lanka Cricket’s Junior Selection Committee has named a 15-member squad for the first two Youth One Day Internationals (ODIs) against the touring Bangladesh Under-19 team.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the U19 team for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which consists of six players from the Devapathiraja College in Rathgama, Galle. 

According to a SLC statement, a 15-member squad has been selected for the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in Malaysia.

The Sri Lanka team will leave for the World Cup tomorrow, 11 January 2025.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced that the Sri Lanka U-19 Women’s team will tour Australia from September–October 2024.

According to the SLC, the Sri Lanka U-19 Women’s team will engage in a tri-series, which will see the team playing both T20 and 50-over games against Australia and New Zealand. 

The SLC stated that the tour is vital exposure for the girls, as they will play against highly competitive teams and also in different conditions.

Sri Lanka U-19 Women’s team will play a Tri-Nation Series involving Australia and England, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced today.

According to the SLC, Sri Lanka, Australia and England U19s will play a tri-nation series involving both T20 and 50-over games during March and April 2024. 

The matches will be played at the MRICS in Hambantota, and GICS at Galle, while each team will play four T20 games and two 50-over games during the tournament.

The winner of the contest will be decided based on the accumulated points based on match wins, while the focus of the series is to provide vital match exposure for U19 women cricketers.
