A group of foreigners have been arrested in Nuwara Eliya on charges of violating visa conditions.

The Police said eight (08) Indonesians were arrested following a raid conducted by the Nuwara Eliya Police.

Based on a tip-off, the Nuwara Eliya Police had conducted a raid in the Hawa Eliya area, leading to the arrest of the group.

The suspects are aged between 28 and 65 years. The Nuwara Eliya Police is conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
