An individual has been injured in a shooting incident reported near the Balapitiya Court Complex today (May 26).

The injured individual, who is the Vice Principal of a prominent school in the area, has been hospitalized following the shooting.

The Police stated that the victim had been shot at while travelling on a motorcycle this morning.
